Kendall Quinn is a little girl who was born with Mitochondrial Disease. Everyday she faces her battles. She is in and out of the hospital on a regular basis. This little girl is a fighter and a miracle! We know that God has big plans for her life. A dear friend of mine Mary Lembeke was burdened greatly for Kendall and her family because of all there medical bills. She decided to get a huge benefit together and all proceeds would go to Kendall's medical fund. Mary, is such a selfless person she coordinated this huge event and it was a HUGE success! That night raised over ten thousands dollars!! I was asked to decorate and design the event. Such a huge honor to do something for a little girl who is in such need. What a blessing it was making and creating everything for her big benefit! The color scheme was pink and brown, feather boas, branches with pink beads dangling, burlap, and i made over 300 sugar cookies with her initial on them, I used an old frame with her picture put on the middle for guests to write a blessing to her. It is my prayer that God strengthens her little body and brings healing to it and that God will provide their financial needs.
