Nautical Theme Sprinkle

This Nautical Theme Sprinkle was probably one of the most meaningful events I've ever thrown.   One of my closest friends Robbyn found out shortly after 20 weeks of her pregnancy that her child she was  carrying had been diagnosed with Trisomy 18. Finding out this devastating news has changed their lives forever. Robbyn and her husband decided that no matter what their options were and knowing that Trisomy babies don't normally survive that she was going to carry this precious boy. They named him Zion early on and Robbyn has carried him 39 weeks and counting. I admire both Josh and Robbyn for their strength and their walk during these past several months. Some may ask why did you do a sprinkle for a baby that has Trisomy 18? I strongly believe that every baby deserves to be celebrated no matter what the diagnose may be. Each child is not a mistake in God's eyes. Zion is a precious gift from God and deserves to be celebrated just like any other child. With that said her closest friends came together and celebrated Zion. We are praying for his little life and cannot wait to meet him. Robbyn I love you like a sister, thank you for letting us do this for you and thank you for your inspiration you constantly give. Our lives are forever changed because of ZION!
Psalms 50:2
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty God shines forth.
A huge thanks to Lauren Haddox Designs for designing the perfect printables for this event!

So thankful for this girl! She encourages me daily and is a huge inspiration to all. Love you Robbyn!

I had this wooden sign made By Joanie Ennessy with Zion's name and scripture verse on it. Thank you Joanie for your beautiful work of art! This was the gift basket all of her friends gave her.
