Brian & Metrey's Chicago Wedding

On Saturday June 16th I did a wedding at Chicago Hope Academy in Chicago IL. Brian and Metrey Larson said there vows and had their reception in the same place. I met with this couple for the first time at the Palatine train station Starbucks and that's when the planning began. The colors of their wedding were Navy, Ivory and a hint of Orange. I coordinated, decorated, created, made all of the decorations, favors, and desserts. I had been working on this wedding for months and it was so fun seeing all the work over time come together and make a beautiful day for this wonderful couple. It was an honor getting to know and work with this couple over the last six months.  I wish Brian and Metrey all the best with their new marriage together. Enjoy the pictures of the wedding and the wedding in the making.

This was the courtyard where the guests entered to get into the chapel and where the appetizers were served.

I used old church pews, vintage windows, suitcases, crates and baby's breath.

Old Chest, vintage drawers,  bushels baskets, oranges for the hint of color and baby's breath.

I did their seating chart on two old big window panes.

I hung their pictures on an old door I bought in a Galena antique store.

The wedding ceremony decorations I used bales of hay, lots of lace, window panes, frames, fresh peonies in jars, baby's breath and branches

Right after the ceremony in one hour we flipped the ceremony into the reception.
