Teacups & Tutus Birthday Party

This theme fit perfectly for my daughter Alivia who is turning 4! I was trying to figure out a theme and I came up with two things that are her absolute favorite which are having tea parties and wearing her tutus. I searched online to see if there were any parties with these two concepts and I saw that Anders & Ruff  did a party called “Teacups &Tutus”. I went with this adorable theme and had SO much fun putting her party together. I worked with Lauren Haddox Designs, and she created all of my amazing party printables to tie in my whole theme. I went with a shabby chic look. The food I made for the tea party was, tea sandwiches, mini bagel sandwiches, chicken salad on mini croissants, cucumber tea sandwiches, fruit skewers, and veggie ranch cups.  The dessert table consisted of cake pops, tea cup sugar cookies, mini yogurt parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries and cupcakes.  When the girls arrived they each had a pink tutu clipped onto old shutters that I found at an antique show. The cute clothes pins were shabby chic and I found them at Michaels. Once the girls got their tutus on I had a tea table set up with a bunch of mini tea sets that I collected from Good Will. It was fun seeing the girls have their own little tea party.  The girls all had a wonderful time! For the party favors I found plastic tea sets from Dollar Tree, each girl got one of those, a pink necklace, tiara, tutu, and personalized chocolate candy bar. Some of the decorations I made were, tulle poms, tissue poms and fabric banners. I used vintage china, vintage teacups and teapots. I used the teapots as centerpieces and decoration by putting fresh flowers in them and placing them around.  The girls had a so much fun and the party was a success! Enjoy the picture!
