Kids Favorite Treat Recipes

My kids LOVE to make treats! At Christmastime there are some recipes that we do together as a family that are their favorite. I love getting my kids involved with making, baking and creating treats. It's so fun to see each of the create something of their own. Here are some recipes below that are kid friendly and are fun to do with them. So grab some hot chocolate, turn on your Christmas music and let the treat making begin.
Have fun...and don't worry about the mess :)

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Ingredients:
1 bag of pretzel rounds
2 bags of hershey kisses any flavor
1 bag of m&m's

Heat of @ 275. Spray cookie sheet with non stick spray. Open all kisses and place them in the center of the pretzel round. Bake for 3-4 minutes. Immediately after the oven place one m&m on the top. Let them cool completely. I like to refrigerate mine after because they taste great cold.

Twix Snowmen

1 box of Mini NILLA Wafers
1 box of NILLA Wafers regular size
1 bag of caramels
1 pkg. white chocolate Almond bark
1 pkg. m&m's
1 package of popsicle sticks

In a small sauce pan place all caramels, stir constantly until melted. Place caramel in the center of each wafer and sandwich them together placing the popsicle stick in the center. Do the mini wafer first for the head and then the bigger wafer for the bottom. After all the snowmen are assembled. Melt chocolate, dip and decorate.
Got this yummy recipe from my friend Marissa. You can also just use mini wafers on mini popsicle sticks dip those and sprinkle with sugar. She made these just like that and they were amazing too. I just thought it would be fun to do snowmen for the kids.

Rice Crispy Treat Tree Pops

Press down until even all the way across. Let it sit for  30 minutes. Use any cookie cutter or a knife and design a tree or what ever you would like. Take out of pan and add a stick on the bottom. Decorate.
