Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope all of you a wonderful time celebrating! We had a wonderful month filled with lots of events and getting to host several parties. Christmas is by far my favorite time of year! I decided to just do one blog post with all of my entertaining and dessert tables and Christmas wedding that I did this month. Hope you enjoy all the pictures! Can’t wait for 2013 and all that the New Year will bring!

Thanks to Josh Blick doing our Family Christmas Card this year!

Christmas Wedding....

I had 2 Cookie Swaps and had to style 10 dessert tables. I pretty much did similar looks with each of my set ups. All of them looked like my Christmas wedding above. I also had several of treat orders which consisted if Red Velvet Cake Pops, Red Velvet Cupcakes, Oreo Parfaits, Rice Crispy Treat Pops, Mini Cheese Cakes, Brownie Pops, Peppermint Kiss Cookies, Peppermint Bark, Chocolate Fudge Cupcake Cakes, Oreo Truffles, Oreo Pops, and Sugar Cookies.

This is what my deliveries looked like.

We do Random Acts of Kindness with our kids the whole month of December and I styled and created a treat/Hot Cocoa Table for Alpine Chapel's Food Pantry and 2 Sunday morning services. We had a wonderful time as a family blessing and serving those less fortunate. Here are some photos of the day...

Here is a little glimpse of some simple lunches I hosted during the Christmas season...

Here is some Christmas decorations used at my house and at some of my events...

Here is my center island in my kitchen, I used an old vintage sleigh, mini sleigh, real pieces of wood, pinecones, fresh greenery lights to create my Christmas set up for each party I hosted.

Christmas Cookie Swap

This cookie swap was so much fun to plan!  I was SO excited when I saw Hostess With the Mostess new printable designs! I was looking for the exact colors and style of the printables.  You can find the Cookie Swap Printables I used here:  http://www.etsy.com/listing/116400584/printable-party-collection-holiday
There is nothing better at Christmas time than a cookie exchange.  My mom growing up always made 15 different kinds of cookies and she still does! I also LOVE baking and especially making cookies at this time of year.  This Cookie Swap was SO fun and SO tasty!  Enjoy!
