Thomas the Train Birthday Party

Choo Choo come along and see my latest Thomas the Train DIY birthday party. I gathered all of my sons tracks, trains, Thomas toys and Thomas tent and started decorating. I searched on Pinterest for free printables and was able to print off tracks, rail road signs, Thomas train faces, and labels of all kinds. My husband made all of the railroad wooden signs that I used for each of the centerpieces and to decorate around. He also made out of wood railroad guards for the perfect addition to the dessert table.  I printed off railroad signs and Thomas printables. Cutting and hot glueing them to put in a bucket of rocks for the centerpieces. I used black tracks and toy trains and placed them around. Each of the tables were a Thomas and Friends train which had a face on the front of the table making it look like Thomas & Friends. The goodie bags were plain bags I bought and printed out Thomas the Train faces and hot glued them onto the front making them look like trains.
All of the food was placed into foil tin pans which I placed in a row with a toy Thomas the train at the front of the pans. This created a food train.  All desserts were designed and made by Wonderfully Made Events.
Party City store had great Thomas themed plates, cups, napkins and balloons that were a great addition to the party.
Kids were able to jump and  play with trains and tracks which were stationed around.  Overall the party was a success and all of the kids enjoyed a day in Thomas land. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Party like a Pineapple

Party like a Pineapple was the theme to this fun 8 year old birthday party. This party was so much fun and so easy to design and put together because pineapples are everywhere. This was a backyard party not only decorated with pineapple themed everything but, the games were all about pineapples. We found a pineapple piƱata with a pineapple bandana for the kids to blind fold. We played pass the pineapple with music. We used a pineapple and hide it in the yard and everyone went on a pineapple scavenger hunt. Pineapple relays, hula hoop contest and a giant slip n slide. Oh what fun!
We had a giant ice cream bar with ice-cream served in cut opened pineapples. Some other fun desserts was pineapple sugar cookies which I tried the famous Jenny Cookies recipe and technique, cake pops with the cutest pineapple sprinkles that I found at Michaels. The thank you gifts were adorable pineapple bracelets that I found at Five-Below store. We also added pineapple juice with pineapple paper straws along with pineapple treats. All printable were designed by Lauren Haddox Designs. They were the perfect addition to complete this fun Party like a Pineapple theme. Enjoy the party pictures!
