Tangled Birthday Party

This party was a Tangled Theme birthday party.  I personally LOVE this movie! I was excited to create a party using some different elemets throughout the movie. I first decided to use the colors that are used for Rapanzel’s dress which is the purple and pink. Since the symbol of the sun was such a huge part of the movie I decided to put that into the scheme of things. I bought three different patterns, chevron, polka dots and dasmask and deisgned several different fabric banners to drap on my back drop. Since the lanterns are also such a huge part I knew that I was going to use those  for this party. On Pinterest I found a cute party that created the purple lanterns with the sun on them, so I decided to make some of my own that looked similar. Since we all know Tangled had her long locks of hair I took lots of ribbon and did a braid and added ribbon and flowers through it. I used the braid to drape throughout the table. I also bought the letter of the little girl’s first name and wrapped it in yellow yarn to make her braid. The menu included: Cupcakes, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Chocolate Covered Marshmallows, Cake Batter Puppy Chow, Cake Ppos and Rice Crsipy Pops.
